
75 judges, civil servants and civil society representatives trained on the environmental laws by CRJ
The Center for Legal Resources in partnership with Terra Millennium III Foundation and Justice & Environment Association organized three training sessions for a number of 75 judges, civil servants and representatives of the NGOs from all around the country.
The seminars took place during the 4th-6th September in Mamaia (Attendance List), the 8th-10th September in Poiana Brasov (Attendance List) and 15th-17th October in Iasi (Attendance List) and aimed at exchanging experience between the participants and acquainting them with the assessment procedures of the impact of the economic activity over the environment and the environment strategic assessment, the Aarhus Convention, the steps to be followed for sending a notice to the international judicial organizations.
The participants were selected following the analyzing of the answers of a 4 question questionnaire sent to all the applicants.
The training sessions hold by Romanian and Spanish experts have been organized within the project “Environment Impact Assessment (EIM) and Environment Strategic Assessment (ESM) – process of transposition and implementation at the level of the stakeholders”, funded by the EU through PHRE Program.
