Also, the project has promoted an advocacy campaign for the implementation of internal policies of integrity in the local public administration.<\/h4>\n<h4>DIRECTIONS OF ACTION<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysing the integrity issues and solutions for increasing integrity in local public administration;<\/li>\n<li>Developing the advocacy role for anti-corruption measures of local NGOs, members of the &#8220;Together Against Corruption&#8221; coalition;<\/li>\n<li>Promoting the integrity of local public administration in 7 counties by the means of an advocacy campaign.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>BENEFICIARIES<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>16 members<\/strong> of the &#8220;Together against corruption&#8221; coalition and <strong>12 local journalists<\/strong> who have benefited from <strong>training on advocacy skills<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>7 NGOs<\/strong> in the country, which have <strong>implemented the advocacy campaign<\/strong> at local level;<\/li>\n<li><strong>21 public institutions<\/strong> (county municipalities, county councils etc.) in the country, which have <strong>improved the internal mechanisms to prevent corruption<\/strong> as a result of the advocacy campaign.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD<\/h4>\n<p>December 2007 &#8211; September 2008<\/p>\n<h4>FUNDING<\/h4>\n<p>European Union through the PHARE 2005, Democracy, human rights, the rule of law component<\/p>\n<h4>BUDGET<\/h4>\n<p>62.070 EUR<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project aimed to\u00a0develop the\u00a0advocacy skills of local non-governmental organizations for the implementation of anti-corruption measures in force.
