The conference has over 20 speakers from 4 E.U. Member States (Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Hungary) and 3 E.U. Candidate Countries (Albania, Macedonia and Serbia).<\/p>\n<p>The conference aims to create networks and structural platforms between Member States and candidate countries in order to facilitate the exchange of information, experience and best practices among professionals involved in protecting EU\u2019s financial interests. Corruption is a salient issue undermining EU\u2019s financial interests. The OLAF 2016 report highlights that \u201cthere is one other common thread running through OLAF\u2019s investigations in general, and the public procurement ones in particular, that would be the existence and use of corruption\u201d.
