On March 29, 2023, as part of Romania’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) mechanism, the Centre for Legal Resources submitted a contribution on the situation of the rights of persons with intellectual and/or psychosocial disabilities living in institutions in Romania.
The submission was endorsed by 7 Romanian NGOs.
UPR is a UN mechanism in which states are the main actors and which consists of the periodic review, under the auspices of the UN Human Rights Council, of the human rights situation in each state.
